On New Brunswick landscape inspiring him: “He translates simple images - homesteads, autumn fields, winter forests, deserted beaches, shorelines, iceflows on the river - against fascinating panoramic skies. Their atmosphere changes strikingly depending on the choice of colors and the flow of washes. Pastel shades of blue and beige, brilliant orange-pink, and dull grey's give life and energy to each work.”
