Among Bruno Bobak’s favourite painting places were the landscapes of New Brunswick. He portrayed the shifting seasons and times of day from some of his beloved fishing spots. The wind, melting snow, flowing water, and growing brambles remind us of the rural vastness of the east coast.
"Pines on the Nashwaak River" sets the tone for a moody fall evening, when the sun sets earlier and earlier and the cool, crisp air billows through the amber leaves.
