Artist Statement - Painting for me is a way to connect and express something that cannot be verbalized. My work is inspired by nature, but doesn't aim to reproduce it. Rather than depicting a scene or the visible world, I try to capture the energy and share the feeling of standing inside it. Each painting is a unique expression of an experience. I discover how I'm feeling while painting...connecting to the moment. Through movement, energy, colour and brushwork I invite the viewers to step into that experience with me.
