Artist statement: Clarity of Mind - After Covid
Covid has brought a sense of clarity of mind, clarity of "what is most important in this world"... For me, it's my family, friends, and the little things that make us smile each day. This series was created to highlight and document these moments, the little moments that make up who we are, our anchors in life, what keeps us sane and able to take on the world. A quiet moment between mother and daughter, the fear of a new disease and the relief after surviving it, a longing for connection with other humans, a renewed appreciation for loved ones.
Clarity of Mind - After Covid is a series that encourages the viewer take a pause, to breath, to appreciate, to question, to notice and hopefully to see the world a little differently... A little clearer.
