"This fox meme or pharaoh meme is a parody on the affluent synonym of the ‘One Percenter’ Vs the ‘Top CEO.’ The Pharaohs of ancient Egypt with their Pyramids and all of their gold, did not have as great a wealth imbalance with their lowest workers, as the One Percenters of today have with their lowest employees. Top CEO’s of companies such as Google, Facebook, and Amazon earn more before noon on January 1st than the average earned salary of their lowest workers for an entire year.
Having so much wealth concentrated in so few hands, does a lot less to stimulate local and national economies, than having that wealth shared more fairly with upper, middle and lower income families. The link between super rich, and poor has become disconnected. The earnings of the wealthiest 1% are at unprecedented heights, and rising. At the same time the lower income class is growing, and their earning power is staying flat or shrinking."
