The milk pitcher is 4.25 x 4.5 x 3 in. (h x d x w). The sugar bowl is 3 in. tall x 3.25 in. diameter.
These are hand blown glass. They were created in 1976. They are signed and dated on the bottoms.
"Martin Demaine was born in Boston in 1942 and grew up in Medford, Massachusetts. After graduating high school, he decided to study glassmaking in the United Kingdom. In the early 1970s Martin moved to New Brunswick, Canada where he established the first private hot glass studio in Canada. He is known as the father of Contemporary Canadian Glass. In 2005, Martin joined Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as the Angelika and Barton Weller artist in residence and as an instructor in the MIT Glass Lab. In 2013, Martin was awarded a fellowship by the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and 2016 received the Rare Craft Fellowship from the American Craft Council." - Courtesy of Mobilia Gallery
