Paul Edouard Bourque is a visual artist with 45 years of experience to his credit. He studied at the University of Moncton, where he also worked as a technician for twenty-five years. Since 2010, he has devoted himself full-time to his artistic production. It explores the conceptualization and construction of the image as a form of expression focused on the actuality of being.
He also handles a range of projects including teaching, workshops, mentoring and technical assembly and installation of works of art in public places. He also acted as curator for several exhibition projects.
Bourque has had more than 45 solo exhibitions as well as countless group exhibitions, and his works have traveled throughout America and Europe. Since 2005, Paul Edouard Bourque has been a member of the Royal Academy of Canada. In 2022, he received an Éloize prize for his support of artistic production. He lives and works in Moncton, New Brunswick.
