Lawrance studied Fine Arts at Concordia University in Montréal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eShe generally works from life using oils on Belgian linen which has been stretched and primed by herself in the traditional manner.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eShe is a past winner in the New Brunswick juried art exhibition initiated by the late Marion McCain in conjunction with the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eThe artist has also completed a portrait of \"The Speaker of the House\" for the Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories. Under the auspices of the Northwest Territories Arts Council, she painted landscapes and a series of portraits from life, in oils and charcoal, of northern elders in their home communities. The majority of these works are now in the permanent collection of the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre in Yellowknife.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eHer work has been exhibited in commercial and public galleries in British Columbia, the Northwest Territories, Ontario and New Brunswick and is represented in both public and private collections in Canada and Belgium.\u003c\/p\u003e","products":[{"product_id":"marsh-19608","title":"Marsh","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis oil painting is currently unframed.
